Things have been a bit screwy and I think I'd like to expand on my friend Craig's summary of this summer as being a bit difficult. I'd say it's more than difficult. I think I could go out on a limb and tell you that as far as I am concerned, this summer has pretty much blown.

I won't even get into the atrocious weather. Yesterday it hailed huge star shaped blocks of hail, and five minutes later it was hot as hell and steam was rising off all the roofs and roads. Whatever. The weather is so tempestuous! It should be in a romance novel.

Well, then there's this living situation thingee. We finally paid a deposit, although we're waiting for our friends to get a closing date on their new home so we can rent their old one. We are going to move into a silver trailer! We'll be just like movie stars! We can pretend we're on location! I plan on sitting outside on an aluminum chair drinking Coors Lights and wearing fabulous sunglasses. I hope no one recognizes us, it gets so tedious!!

Maybe I'll send out some postcards and let you know where we are. If you're good.
